1. What this is

PL Predictor is a free game for predicting football scorelines. No money is staked and none is won. It is not gambling.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old.
One person, one account. Accounts created to farm points are removed.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe.
You cannot submit predictions until your email is confirmed.

3. How it is played

You predict the exact scoreline for the matches in a round.
The whole round locks 30 minutes before the first match in it kicks off. After that no prediction is accepted or edited.
Other players' predictions become visible when the round's first match kicks off — not before.
Points: 3 for the exact score, 1 for the correct outcome (home win / draw / away win), 0 otherwise.
A match without a result earns nothing until it is finished.

4. Groups

Any confirmed user can create a public or private group. Points inside a group are the same points as in the overall standings — a group filters who is listed, it is not a separate game.

5. Advertising

The site is funded by advertising. You can turn personalised advertising off in My data at any time; you will still see ads, but they will not be based on tracking you.

6. Match data

Results come from football-data.org. If a result is wrong or arrives late, we may recalculate the points for the round concerned.

7. Ending

You can delete your account at any time from My data. We may close an account that breaches these terms.
